The Ermine

The Ermine is our first sauna ready to rent! It comfortably seats 4-6 people at a time. Custom built with much care and consideration, this sauna is designed to nurture your health and well being by providing a high-quality, Finnish-style sauna experience.

Design and materials were chosen to keep this sauna non-toxic and chemical free. No harmful, off-gassing materials or finishes. The regional white cedar was milled by a multi-generational family sawmill in Door County. Good ventilation and an upper bench at stone height ensures an oxygenated and refreshing sweat, with soft, rolling steam, while modern stove shielding minimizes harsh radiant heat. Interior and exterior lights offer safety and ambience for evening sessions.

We are excited to offer the community this service, and the peace of mind that comes with it.

Hello! We are Leo and Ava, thanks for your interest in Fauna Sauna.

Our love for sauna and shared life-long passion for design and building have led us to create this offering in the Chequamegon Bay. We have lived in the area for over a decade and take pleasure in the rhythms of seasons. Sauna is a practice that takes great care of us in the seasonal climate in Northern Wisconsin and we are excited to share it!

This business was created from the desire to provide an approchable sauna experience for our community here in the Chequamegon Bay and its visitors. By offering mobile sauna service, we can bring the sauna to you, wherever you are! We look forward to meeting you.
